Supervision and Consultation

Ms. Garza Louis has provided services in her private practice for children and families for over 30 years and has been an approved supervisor since 2005.  Counseling services include specialized counseling in sexual abuse, difficult divorce and custody, and play therapy. 

Supervision Group for LPC, LMFT, and RPT

This group meets every week for 1 hour in person or online.  The group involves case consultation, discussions regarding difficulty in the therapeutic process, different theoretical frameworks, and discussions on cultural diversity. Articles are presented with a focus on new developments and guidance in the field of mental health, and verification of board rules (LPC, LMFT and RPT) and HIPAA compliance. The cost of group supervision is $60.00 per hour.

Individual Supervision:

LPC and LMFT board rules require associates to have a minimum of 50% of their supervision sessions individually. (Individual sessions are considered as 2 or fewer participants in the session.) Individual sessions are scheduled as needed when in a group to comply with these rules or on an ongoing basis if associates prefer individual sessions. The cost of individual supervision is $125.00 per hour.
