Rio Grande Counseling Center was established in 1984 providing counseling services for children and families and bilingual/bi-cultural services to the central Texas area. We accept many insurance carriers, as well as Medicaid and Victims Compensation.
We provide services to children, families and adults with a variety of issues and specialize in sexual abuse treatment for adults children and families.
Our primary theoretical orientation is prescriptive, using Person Centered,
Cognitive Behavioral, Trauma Focused, and Play Therapy, focusing on the present needs of the client.
